Trials and automatic conversion
The trial gives you full Pro access for 7 days, requires payment details up front, and converts to a paid plan automatically unless you cancel first.
Who this is for: Anyone starting, running or ending a Byteflare trial.
What the trial includes
Full Pro access for the length of the trial: unlimited projects, unlimited AI scope generations, PDF export, public share links and white-labelling. Nothing is held back. See Plans and limits.
Starting a trial
Choose Start trial
From pricing, the dashboard banner, or an upgrade prompt.
Pick monthly or yearly
This decides what you are charged when the trial converts — $29 or $290.
Complete checkout
Byteflare creates a Paddle transaction and sends you to a hosted checkout page to enter your payment details.
Return to the dashboard
Your plan shows as Trial and the trial banner shows how many days remain.
Cancel before it converts
This is the most important thing to know about the trial, so here it is precisely.
Check the date the trial ends
The dashboard trial banner shows the days remaining. Do this before the final day, not on it.
Open Settings and choose Billing
On a team workspace this is owner-only.
Choose Cancel
Confirm when prompted.
Confirm the state changed
The billing page should no longer show an upcoming charge. If it still does, contact support@byteflare.app before the trial end date rather than after it.
What happens after you cancel a trial
Cancelling during the trial stops the conversion charge. Your account returns to the Free plan and its limits. Your projects are not deleted, but the ones beyond the Free plan's 3-project limit become read-only until you upgrade again.
Trial length
The trial is 7 days, as stated in the Terms of Service. The exact end date and time for your account is shown in the dashboard banner and on the billing page; use those rather than counting days yourself, particularly across time zones.
