Preview and export a proposal
The preview is the client-facing document; PDF export prints it, and copy to clipboard gives you plain text for email.
Who this is for: Anyone about to deliver a proposal.
The preview
Open a project and choose Preview. This renders the proposal as the client sees it. Your internal notes, your rate and your cost base are not part of this document.
Export as PDF
Choose Save as PDF
The button opens your browser's own print dialogue against a dedicated print stylesheet. Byteflare does not run a server-side PDF renderer.
Choose Save as PDF as the destination
In Chrome and Edge this is the Destination dropdown. In Safari it is the PDF menu at the bottom left of the print sheet.
Turn off headers and footers
Browsers add the page URL and date by default. Turning that off in the print options produces a clean client document.
Copy to clipboard
Copy to Clipboard produces a plain-text version of the whole proposal: summary, scope of work with deliverables, timeline, pricing with a total, payment schedule, optional add-ons, assumptions, exclusions and client responsibilities. It is designed to be pasted into an email without reformatting.
What is recorded when you export
Pressing Save as PDF records a product analytics event against your account so Byteflare can measure feature usage. The proposal contents are not sent anywhere as part of that event, and analytics only run at all if you accepted analytics cookies. See the Privacy Policy.
