Create your Byteflare account

Sign up with an email address and password or with Google, then set the two account details that improve every scope you generate.

Who this is for: Anyone creating a Byteflare account for the first time.

Sign up

  1. Open the sign-up form

    Go to byteflare.app/signup. That URL forwards to the combined sign-in and sign-up screen with sign-up already selected.

  2. Choose how you want to sign in

    Continue with Google completes in one step. Email and password requires a password of at least six characters.

  3. Confirm your email if asked

    When email confirmation is required, Byteflare tells you to check your inbox and holds the button for 60 seconds before you can request another message.

  4. Land on the dashboard

    After sign-up you are taken to your dashboard. If you arrived from a trial link, Byteflare sends you straight into checkout instead.

Set your default hourly rate

This is the single highest-value setting in the product. When a rate is set, it is passed to the model as part of the scope request, and the generated pricing is built around it. Leave it blank and the AI estimates freely, which is usually worse.

  1. Open Settings from the bottom of the workspace sidebar.
  2. Stay on the Account tab.
  3. Under Pricing, enter your hourly rate in US dollars and choose Save Rate.

Display name and appearance

Settings → Appearance holds your display name, your avatar colour, and the light, dark, or system theme. The theme is stored in your browser, so it follows the browser rather than the account.
